I have had a headache for 2 days...?

i took advil today at like 12, its 2:45 do i cant take another, i didnt really hit me again until about 11, i had it all day yesterday, how do i get rid of it, its killing me!!!

You are probably hungry so eat something and drink orange juice or something that contains vitamin c. If you find that is not the problem go to the doctor and see what he reccommends.

If this is the worse headache of your life, then go to the doctor. You don't say how old you are, or if you are at risk for a stroke or aneurysm. Do you do drugs, ic; cocaine? Is there heart and/stroke history in your family? Are you on the Pill? These are all risks for strokes and a really bad headache can be really bad sign of something not going right. Have you gone for a chiropractor adjustment lately and he did high rotational neck adjustment on you? It could have torn a blood vessel. Go to the doctor just to be sure.

who will be able to give you advise on how to handle your headache or if it could be more serious and you need to see a doctor

It depends upon your age and how much Advil you took. If you are an adult than you can take up to 800 mg every 4-6 hours. Some home ideas to get rid of your head ache. You may be dehydrated from hot weather. So drink a bunch of water. Also try drinking some coffee or espresso. Caffeine is very good for headaches (as long as your headache isn't from dehydration because coffee will dehydrate you more). Actually some headache medicines are mostly caffeine.
