Do you sometimes get headache from doing math?

I don't but I am sure that some people do.

I get a headache just thinkin' 'bout math!

Do you sometimes get headache from doing math?opera music opera theater

Yes, it is common to get headaches while doing math. But that just means that you're thinking hard. Not necessarily a bad thing! Keep on thinking, but don't overstress yourself!
I got a nosebleed during a Physics exam once... that was fun, and 45 minutes to go, too.
My hypothesis:

- You write furiously desperately trying to get the right answer.

- You punch your calculator with your fingers at a fast rate

- You mess up and have to punch it all in again

- You get angry and scribble it all out as you get the answer wrong.

- Your brain responds by increasing heart rate, and diverting blood flow to your writing hand and internal organs as if your gonna get hit.

- Blood is drawn away from your brain as a result of imminent 'giving up'

- You feel a headache as the vessels constrict violently in your brain, and that vein on your forehead is about to burst.
try this. put your hands togeather palms facing each other, but leave a space in between (cup you hands togeather) no once you do that foces on the air between your hands. you will feel your hands getting warmer and you will probly get the same headache.. cool huh?
Headaches are often caused from studying because of the position that we sit in. This is when you have your hand raised in the writing position on the table and so you are constantly using your trapizius muscle on the side and back of you neck. When they get tired they start to cramp slightly and pull and tightly the head region so you get a headache.
I get a headache with anything related to studying, specially social studies and science

Home remedies for migraine headache?

I've had one for two days now!!!!

Home remedies for migraine headache?pacific theater

Chiropractors have very good results from treating migraines. A migraine headache is now thought to be a neurovascular event and there is a growing body of knowledge that shows chiropractic adjustments are helpful in many cases.

I was having a blinding one sided headache, my grandfather put a one ounce lead fishing weight on a piece of yarn and put it around my neck. He had me sit up very straight and still for about ten minutes. The headache was gone! He had me wear it for about ten days. Said it had something to do with the nerves in the spine.
Many people have had relief from migraine headaches by eating two teaspoons of honey at each meal. This will also prevent an attack in many people.

Another effective means is to use natural apple cider vinegar . Equal parts of natural apple cider vinegar and water should be placed in a small pan on the stove, allowing it to boil slowly. When the fumes begin to rise from the pan, lean your head over it until the fumes are comfortably strong. Inhale for approximately 50 to 80 breaths. This generally alleviates the headache considerably, if not entirely.

Moisten your fingertips with Pure Almond Carrier Oil then add two drops of Lavender Essential Oil. In a circular motion, gently massage your temples, the hollows at the sides of your eyes, behind your ears, and over your neck.
Stop smoking pot
I wouldn't know but you could ask my friend Mary J. Warner
Caffeine is usually good for getting rid of headaches - not sure about migraines. It opens up the blood vessels in your head so blood can flow easier. Try some caffeine, if not i think you just have to wait it out (preferably in a quiet and dark room) if you don't have an RX for imitrex or whatever else is out there. Feel better soon!
My friend's daughter has had much success with peppermint and lavender essential oils applied to the temples and back of the neck.
Pill book Guide to Natural Medicines lists:

Feverfew

ginger

5-HTP (hydroxytrytophan)

Some people have gotten relief from drinking monavie juice
drink some gatorade and then water. you could be dehydrated.
Migraines are thought to be because of a magnesium deficiency.
magnesium pills worked for me, with some tylonel.

also try white flower oil or tiger balm on your temples.

drink lots of water.

take a warm bath with lavender oil and relax.

First be sure it is truly a migraine. Some folks will call any bad headache a migraine. True migraines are usually one sided and the victim is VERY sensitive to light and sometimes noise. If it is a migraine you should rest in a darkened, quiet room. You can put a cold cloth on your head and try taking two tylenol and two ibuprofen at the same time.
a very dark quiet room, ice pack applied to head for short periods of time and take a over the counter med just for migraines. I could not even be on the computer if I had a migraine.

Good luck..
Try to clear your digestion, often times my migraines are caused by indigestions.
loosen all tight clothing

take one disprin and drink a large glass of water

lay down and relax and try to sleep.

if you are not in the mood to lay down, drink the water then go for a walk.

you may find that your diet is part of the problem. lower your sugar intake.

I have high fever, headache, sore body, tired, foggy head and hot and cold flashes, whats wrong with me?

It could be just a simple flu virus, but more worrisome is possibly West Nile Virus, the symptoms of it start out similar to the flu. You may want to contact your doctor or your local health department. They could tell you if there are any flu viruses that are going around, and if there are none, you may want to get checked out. A neighbor of mine has a friend who was just diagnosed and she had symptoms as you are describing. Hope for your sake its just a simple flu!

sounds like the flu.
Your body is letting you know SOMETHING IS DEFINITELY WRONG! Go see a Doctor! You may be stressed out, anemic, pregant (if your are...well...you know) or may be symptoms of menopause (again if you are a bit older) or simply something you ate that is not settling well.....

Best advice: Go to a doctor!
Maybe you have a flu. or an infection. When you have an infection you will always have high fever. If you have an infection you can treat it with antibiotics. Know if you have a virus, which can be the flu, you are out of look. There are no antibiotics for virus. The only thing the doctor will give you is pain medicine. A virus has its course it will go away on its on.
Those are the "symptoms" of MANY, DIFFERENT things!

GO TO A DOCTOR!!!!!
You may have a cold (not likely the flu). Also, can be a sinus infection. Hope you get to feeling better.
prolly the flu... drink lots of fluids.. if you dont get better in a few days, seek medical help

pl see what suits you.

If you are in cold country use all warm things.

Pl try cold water bath and observe if in hot country, if pain increases use warm.

If you have cough/cold body hot water bath will help.

Massage and exercise in front of morning sun is good thing, pl try.

Pl try simple acupressure given below for immediate relief.

If it fails you will have to go for Acupuncture.

There is hardly any medicine for H/A OR MIGRAINE. Not only these but for RA, OA, Back ache, Ear ache/ringing, Stomach ache and almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic.

Acidity, WORRY, sadness, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food and sinusitis, constipation, intestinal inflammation; drug side effects, stress, bad smell, TV %26amp; COMPUTER SOMETIMES, Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy, BODY CONSTITUTION etc are their causes.

None of them can be treated with medicine.

Our 100% success in treating migraine %26amp;H/A confirms it.

Acupuncture is the best treatment.

I can treat it with naturopathy and YOG, but how can you manage pl see.

Pain killers don't treat the pain but we loose the sense of pain for some time; in that duration our body itself treats sometime and credit goes to meds.

The useless drugs have tremendous power of side effects like liver/kidney failures, ulcer, inflammation of intestines and lot more.

Avoid late sleeping if possible; worry, tension, spicy foods, sour fruits, stale bakery foods, SMOKING and alcohole.

Sweet foods, COCOANUT WATER,sweet fruits like dates, milk, rice, SPROUTS, SALADS and good sleep will help if cough is not there.

But you try one herbal remedy- two drops of drumstick leaves' juice in opposite nostril if one side pains and both nostrils if full H/A will give you rescue. Betel leaf helps but it is very strong.

If it is acute pl search a painful point (with round tipped pen/jimmy) 3-6 mm behind your thumb nail and press it, H/A will disappear within 30 seconds.

For forehead/eye pain the points are in front of nails on the finger tips or 3-7 mm below.

It may disappear naturally too.

Again this is a professional advice.

Headache in such description for 6 days may be due to some benign causes, (such as some types of migraine). However, professional aid is very important, a full head scan and some blood tests are needed. Anything else is just guessing and it is not medically accepted

This needs to be checked out by a doctor. It could be a neck injury, but it actually sounds like an infection. I would doubt meningitis, more likely some sort of ear infection or maybe even an infection of one the large salivary glands. There are too many possibilities to say. You must see a doctor to get a straight answer.
if i were you I'd head straight to the Dr,people on yahoo answers are not qualified to answer such questions, although migraine comes to mind
www.doctorslounge.com is a good place to start.

Also I don't know how you feel about chiropractors but there could be something out of alignment in your neck causing these factors. I had the same thing or similar. I used to get headaches, earaches and dizzy spells. I got these for years and baffled the doctors. I went to a chiropractor and she cleared it right up, turns out one of the vertibrae in my neck was out by a couple milimetres and as part of your nervous system that would have an effect on all of those symptoms.

If you do go to the doctorslounge, i would suggest not asking about chiro, there seems to be a small feud between them and a lot of doctors look at chiropractors as witch doctors.

Your problem seems mainly due to excess of liver fire. Avoid sun heat, sour, saulty, spicy, hot %26amp; stale food, alcohole.

A glass of milk before going to bed will help.

Use sweet foods and fruits, good sleep and pleasant atmosphere.

You need to see your doc. Sounds like a sinus infection if the pain is near your temple and behind the eye along with other things. It might also be migraine but either way you should not let this go untreated and undiagnosed any longer in case it is serious. Go get this checked out now.
Could be a migraine - try Oridus KT
OVER A WEEK???? You really have to go see your doctor I understand that you don't do well with meds but if the pain is going on as long and intense as you describe it then there is a very real possibly that you need a cat scan to make sure there isn't a tumor or possibly bleeding on the brain, please talk to your doctor immediately because this is very serious.
