Do you sometimes get headache from doing math?

I don't but I am sure that some people do.

Do you sometimes get headache from doing math?theatre

I get a headache just thinkin' 'bout math!

Do you sometimes get headache from doing math?opera music opera theater

Yes, it is common to get headaches while doing math. But that just means that you're thinking hard. Not necessarily a bad thing! Keep on thinking, but don't overstress yourself!
I got a nosebleed during a Physics exam once... that was fun, and 45 minutes to go, too.
My hypothesis:

- You write furiously desperately trying to get the right answer.

- You punch your calculator with your fingers at a fast rate

- You mess up and have to punch it all in again

- You get angry and scribble it all out as you get the answer wrong.

- Your brain responds by increasing heart rate, and diverting blood flow to your writing hand and internal organs as if your gonna get hit.

- Blood is drawn away from your brain as a result of imminent 'giving up'

- You feel a headache as the vessels constrict violently in your brain, and that vein on your forehead is about to burst.
try this. put your hands togeather palms facing each other, but leave a space in between (cup you hands togeather) no once you do that foces on the air between your hands. you will feel your hands getting warmer and you will probly get the same headache.. cool huh?
Headaches are often caused from studying because of the position that we sit in. This is when you have your hand raised in the writing position on the table and so you are constantly using your trapizius muscle on the side and back of you neck. When they get tired they start to cramp slightly and pull and tightly the head region so you get a headache.
I get a headache with anything related to studying, specially social studies and science

Home remedies for migraine headache?

I've had one for two days now!!!!

Home remedies for migraine headache?pacific theater

Chiropractors have very good results from treating migraines. A migraine headache is now thought to be a neurovascular event and there is a growing body of knowledge that shows chiropractic adjustments are helpful in many cases.

I was having a blinding one sided headache, my grandfather put a one ounce lead fishing weight on a piece of yarn and put it around my neck. He had me sit up very straight and still for about ten minutes. The headache was gone! He had me wear it for about ten days. Said it had something to do with the nerves in the spine.
Many people have had relief from migraine headaches by eating two teaspoons of honey at each meal. This will also prevent an attack in many people.

Another effective means is to use natural apple cider vinegar . Equal parts of natural apple cider vinegar and water should be placed in a small pan on the stove, allowing it to boil slowly. When the fumes begin to rise from the pan, lean your head over it until the fumes are comfortably strong. Inhale for approximately 50 to 80 breaths. This generally alleviates the headache considerably, if not entirely.

Moisten your fingertips with Pure Almond Carrier Oil then add two drops of Lavender Essential Oil. In a circular motion, gently massage your temples, the hollows at the sides of your eyes, behind your ears, and over your neck.
Stop smoking pot
I wouldn't know but you could ask my friend Mary J. Warner
Caffeine is usually good for getting rid of headaches - not sure about migraines. It opens up the blood vessels in your head so blood can flow easier. Try some caffeine, if not i think you just have to wait it out (preferably in a quiet and dark room) if you don't have an RX for imitrex or whatever else is out there. Feel better soon!
My friend's daughter has had much success with peppermint and lavender essential oils applied to the temples and back of the neck.
Pill book Guide to Natural Medicines lists:

Feverfew

5-HTP (hydroxytrytophan)

Some people have gotten relief from drinking monavie juice
drink some gatorade and then water. you could be dehydrated.
Migraines are thought to be because of a magnesium deficiency.
magnesium pills worked for me, with some tylonel.

also try white flower oil or tiger balm on your temples.

drink lots of water.

take a warm bath with lavender oil and relax.

First be sure it is truly a migraine. Some folks will call any bad headache a migraine. True migraines are usually one sided and the victim is VERY sensitive to light and sometimes noise. If it is a migraine you should rest in a darkened, quiet room. You can put a cold cloth on your head and try taking two tylenol and two ibuprofen at the same time.
a very dark quiet room, ice pack applied to head for short periods of time and take a over the counter med just for migraines. I could not even be on the computer if I had a migraine.

Good luck..
Try to clear your digestion, often times my migraines are caused by indigestions.
loosen all tight clothing

take one disprin and drink a large glass of water

lay down and relax and try to sleep.

if you are not in the mood to lay down, drink the water then go for a walk.

you may find that your diet is part of the problem. lower your sugar intake.

I have high fever, headache, sore body, tired, foggy head and hot and cold flashes, whats wrong with me?

It could be just a simple flu virus, but more worrisome is possibly West Nile Virus, the symptoms of it start out similar to the flu. You may want to contact your doctor or your local health department. They could tell you if there are any flu viruses that are going around, and if there are none, you may want to get checked out. A neighbor of mine has a friend who was just diagnosed and she had symptoms as you are describing. Hope for your sake its just a simple flu!

sounds like the flu.
Your body is letting you know SOMETHING IS DEFINITELY WRONG! Go see a Doctor! You may be stressed out, anemic, pregant (if your are...well...you know) or may be symptoms of menopause (again if you are a bit older) or simply something you ate that is not settling well.....

Best advice: Go to a doctor!
Maybe you have a flu. or an infection. When you have an infection you will always have high fever. If you have an infection you can treat it with antibiotics. Know if you have a virus, which can be the flu, you are out of look. There are no antibiotics for virus. The only thing the doctor will give you is pain medicine. A virus has its course it will go away on its on.
Those are the "symptoms" of MANY, DIFFERENT things!

GO TO A DOCTOR!!!!!
You may have a cold (not likely the flu). Also, can be a sinus infection. Hope you get to feeling better.
prolly the flu... drink lots of fluids.. if you dont get better in a few days, seek medical help

pl see what suits you.

If you are in cold country use all warm things.

Pl try cold water bath and observe if in hot country, if pain increases use warm.

If you have cough/cold body hot water bath will help.

Massage and exercise in front of morning sun is good thing, pl try.

Pl try simple acupressure given below for immediate relief.

If it fails you will have to go for Acupuncture.

There is hardly any medicine for H/A OR MIGRAINE. Not only these but for RA, OA, Back ache, Ear ache/ringing, Stomach ache and almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic.

Acidity, WORRY, sadness, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food and sinusitis, constipation, intestinal inflammation; drug side effects, stress, bad smell, TV %26amp; COMPUTER SOMETIMES, Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy, BODY CONSTITUTION etc are their causes.

None of them can be treated with medicine.

Our 100% success in treating migraine %26amp;H/A confirms it.

Acupuncture is the best treatment.

I can treat it with naturopathy and YOG, but how can you manage pl see.

Pain killers don't treat the pain but we loose the sense of pain for some time; in that duration our body itself treats sometime and credit goes to meds.

The useless drugs have tremendous power of side effects like liver/kidney failures, ulcer, inflammation of intestines and lot more.

Avoid late sleeping if possible; worry, tension, spicy foods, sour fruits, stale bakery foods, SMOKING and alcohole.

Sweet foods, COCOANUT WATER,sweet fruits like dates, milk, rice, SPROUTS, SALADS and good sleep will help if cough is not there.

But you try one herbal remedy- two drops of drumstick leaves' juice in opposite nostril if one side pains and both nostrils if full H/A will give you rescue. Betel leaf helps but it is very strong.

If it is acute pl search a painful point (with round tipped pen/jimmy) 3-6 mm behind your thumb nail and press it, H/A will disappear within 30 seconds.

For forehead/eye pain the points are in front of nails on the finger tips or 3-7 mm below.

It may disappear naturally too.

Again this is a professional advice.

Headache in such description for 6 days may be due to some benign causes, (such as some types of migraine). However, professional aid is very important, a full head scan and some blood tests are needed. Anything else is just guessing and it is not medically accepted

I've had a headache for the past 6 days, tagged with ear ache, a little sensitive to light.?sheet music opera theater

This needs to be checked out by a doctor. It could be a neck injury, but it actually sounds like an infection. I would doubt meningitis, more likely some sort of ear infection or maybe even an infection of one the large salivary glands. There are too many possibilities to say. You must see a doctor to get a straight answer.
if i were you I'd head straight to the Dr,people on yahoo answers are not qualified to answer such questions, although migraine comes to mind
www.doctorslounge.com is a good place to start.

Also I don't know how you feel about chiropractors but there could be something out of alignment in your neck causing these factors. I had the same thing or similar. I used to get headaches, earaches and dizzy spells. I got these for years and baffled the doctors. I went to a chiropractor and she cleared it right up, turns out one of the vertibrae in my neck was out by a couple milimetres and as part of your nervous system that would have an effect on all of those symptoms.

If you do go to the doctorslounge, i would suggest not asking about chiro, there seems to be a small feud between them and a lot of doctors look at chiropractors as witch doctors.

If it occurs during evening hours then your glasses need to be changed. If it is occuring early in the morning as soon as you get up then it could be infection of your frontal sinuses. Give me some more details, like whether you have watering eyes, blurring of vision or vomiting, and when you are having this headache. Also let me know yr age.
I get the exact symptoms when I'm stressed. I try get a lie down for half and hour but I the best thing that seems to work is a nice hot bath. If it is sinus trouble, the steam from the bath would help that too.
try first to see if it is a tension headache get some tension headache tables from boots, then try the sinus issue and by this time book an appointment with your opticians then doctor.

Dont leave the issue to get better on its own Good Luck
thats it, try cucumber slices
Hi... Ewww, sorry that sounds uncomfortable...Sounds to be (a slightly informed audiologist...hearing specialist) that you've got sinusitis...

Try some decongestants and anti cattargh tablets, such as Sudafed.... But check the box, they do in some forms contain paracetamol...

Also, Steam is great... In your ear you've got outer, middle and inner.... The tympanic membrane (ear drum) in the middle ear can become sucked inwards...this is due to an increase in fluid in the eustchacian tube behind it...Its what can give the pressure feeling... Its caused when the fluid gets more sticky..(im talking about phlegm..sorry!) anyway...steam will help this become more mobile and release the tension of the eardrum... just a towel over year head and lean over a bowl of steaming water, with a few drops of essential oils... Will make you feel great!!

Short of this.. Off to the G.P please!!
You have a Migraine...

I spent most of my life with them. Until one day I went to the store and picked up a bottle of Excedrin Migraine. Make sure you get the right one, they have lots of different kinds of Excedrin. If you take two and go lay down for 20 min's it will be GONE!!! I keep a bottle next to my bed and another in my kitchen. That way I always have them on hand. They work GREAT!!!
easy trust me 2 mint leaf one in each side between the ear and the eye stick it with alcohol
Sound's like your eyes are straining mate i get this when i don't wear my glasses for a while coproxymol are the best pills to get.
sounds like a sinus headache to me. Try to take a allergy pill like benadryl allergy etc. Thats the best way I have figured out the difference between my headaches. In the beginning I just tried different things like excedrin migraine, allergy, and tension headache meds. I finally figured out how to know exactly which it is by my symptoms and know the right meds to take for it.
Could be. Need to go to ER and get shot of demerol/phenergan. This is very effective for headaches but they do not use demoral much due to seizures, that is why phenergan to help with adverse reations. Then any very light pain med like fiorcet with or without codiene. Drink caffeine, rather soda or coffee.
Sounds like Sinus pressure to me....A migraine is different...Migraines usually stem from pain in the temples, and loud noises, bright rooms, or hectic enviroments, worsen the pain....As far as the glasses go...Well, when mine need to be upgraded, I usually experience pain from behind my eyes.....It goes in a out, the pain does....But what u are experienced, could very well be Sinus Pressure...If it bothers u this much, go to ur Doctor, cuz I am sure he can prescribe u some Sinus Pressure pain reliever...If u just rather do it the easy way, go to ur local drugstore..They have Sinus Pressure gelcaps..I know Sudafed makes really good, effective ones...Give them a try, and see! Hope this helps!!! =)
Sounds like sinus problems, could also be the glasses
If you get this sort of problem fairly often it may be Migraine and if it is normal painkillers have little or no effect on it. Migraine prevents transport of painkillers across the stomach wall apparently.

I've suffered from Migraine for years and it used to take anything up to a week to clear up. Then I got a new doctor and he prescribed Imigran (Sumatriptan) and bingo, no more trouble, the headache clears up in an hour or so now and as I can often feel it coming on, I can sometimes stop it in its tracks.

If you don't want to go to the doctor, try buying something specifically designed for Migraine from the chemist and see if it helps.
sinus headache - take beachams decongestant for sinus headaches they work.
sinus
it sounds like migraine pay a visit to your GP
sound slike a migraine, pray you don't get them a lot, you can lose days with a really bad one.

Get well soon
i get that it could sinuses
I reckon it could be sinus trouble too. When you press your fingers under your eyes on top of cheek bones, if that feels sore too then thats what it is. Buy a jar of Vicks vapor rub and have a good sniff of it. Dont put it straight on to skin, just sniff hard. Bet that will ease it.But need to see Doc I reckon.
Sounds like a sinus headache, unless it's throbbing, then it sounds like a migraine. Try cutting a lime in 1/2 %26amp; rubbing it on your head (it really does work - just don't drip any in your eyes).
sounds like a sinus infection. go out and buy some eucalyptus essential oil, put six drops in a bowl of boiling water, with a towel over the top, stick your head under it and breath in deeply. That should cure it for you.
had your eyes tested recently?
sounds like a sinus headache.
sinuses playing up also get an eye test done could be they are strained and you dont know it.

Often times, severe headaches and neck pains are caused by pain shooting up through your teeth. I would recommend 2 tylenol's or advils, whatever you use. If the pain persists, see a doctor.

migraleave ,they r for migranes but you take two yellow first and they normally cure any head pain ,but they are about 锟?.00 per box but very good,as they kill pain in the head as well as the neck and any other tense areas ,if you feel sick as well with a head ache this is normally a migrane anyway ,and these will stop that too
it could be a tension headache i get those alot..Dr. gave me a prescription for aleve..he told me to take them twice a day..they are 500mg each so 1000mg a day. he said they should go away or not be so bad..i get them everyday and they hurt like hell.... good luck..
excedrine migraine, or excedrine tension headache.
Ibrufin is a good pain killer
aleve is really good, or try excedrine. excedrine has different types based on different pains.

or take a nap. :)
go to emergency care unit
Maybe getting rid of your boy friend that's causing the pain in the neck would help!
There are plenty of OTC medications for your condition, however, understand that some of them can cause serious allergic reactions in some people, especially Aleve. I would stay with Tylenol and would not exceed the recomended dosage. If your head continues to hurt after you've taken the medication, you should then contact your health care provider if you have one.
just lay down
Have it checked out by a chiropractor. Most insurance accepts chiropractic care. If there is anything out of alignment they will realign it without the use of drugs and it feels sooooo good when they're done. I was in a car accident years ago and it wasn't until a year later that I started to have my neck freeze up. I went to the chiropractor and he found I had whiplash which even the best rated hospital in my area didn't see in their x-rays. I have learned since then that even the smallest misalignment of the neck, shoulder and back can cause serious headaches due to pressure from the misalignment. And it only takes rolling over in your sleep to cause a problem later down the road. You don't know that you have the injury until it becomes inflamed and stiffens in pain.

Hope this helps and have a great day!!!

p.s. Tylenol is the safest pain reliever- Aleve and Advil can cause stomach problems i.e. ulcers. I learned the hard way!
crosin will give you immediate relief

I have some percocet - would you like some? Actually, Exedrin has a tension headache medicine that works well on head and neck pain. Ice on the back of your neck will also help. Hope you feel better.
I recommend vicodin--however as that is a little hard to come by these days--how about some excedrin migraine medicine...or tension headache...? Maybe that will help.
Yay - I'm the only 1 to say - GO SEE A CHIROPRACTOR!!!!
Sounds like it is a tension headache. I would get those from work. I took Skelaxin and it worked like a dream and there are no side effects. If you really want something that works for these kind of headaches and neck pain, this is definitely it. It is prescription, however, so you waould have to get it from your doctor, but believe me it is a godsend. Hope this helps!
i think your headache may be linked with neck pain / spondalytis, if such is the case some regular excercise would be best in long run
You might con cider a massage therapist. Pain has an origin and a therapist might help you. I helped me.
excedrine migraine. 1/2 hour the pain is gone
magnapyrol

the best headache killer
Excedrin...that is the only thing that works for me. I keep a bottle everywhere. It sucks when I go to someones house and they do not have excedrin.

I actually have that right now. I find that its just some stiffness in the neck. Besides the pain reliever do some stretchs for your upper back and neck. One you can do for the neck...sit on the side of your bed or a bench. Put your arm straight out and hold the side of the bed or whatever your sitting on. Then lean away opposite the arm you have out, but not too much. Just enough to feel a slight pull. Then repeat with the other side.

Can you get a headache from the sun?

absolutely! and it's mad crazy hurting, isn't it??

along with that, here's a ton of other information on headaches!

The most common types of headaches usually are not serious but may occur again and again.

--Tension headaches -- the most common type of headache and are episodes of constant aching, tightness, pressure, and pain around the forehead, temples, or back of the head and neck. Symptoms usually occur on both sides of the head rather than just one side.

Tension headaches usually do not stop a person from doing his or her regular activities. These headaches usually do not cause nausea, vomiting, or sensitivity to light or noise. A tension headache can last anywhere from 30 minutes to several days. Some people experience chronic tension headaches, which means they get a headache on 15 or more days a month.

Tension headaches are related to muscles tightening in the back of the neck or head because of stress, anxiety, fatigue, hunger, anger, poor posture, or overexertion.

Treatment for tension headaches usually includes aspirin, ibuprofen, or other nonprescription pain relievers. Aspirin should not be given to anyone age 20 years or younger because it has been linked to Reye's syndrome, a rare but serious disease that most often affects children. Prescription medications, such as antidepressants, may be needed to treat tension headaches. Additional therapies, including stress management or biofeedback, may reduce or prevent tension headaches

--Cluster headaches -- these are recurring headaches that occur in groups or cycles. The headaches appear suddenly and cause severe, debilitating pain on one side of the head, along with a watery eye and nasal congestion on the affected side of the head. The cause of cluster headaches is unknown. Although there is no cure for cluster headaches, medications can reduce the frequency and duration of the painful headaches.

--Migraine headaches -- Approximately one-third of people who have migraine headaches first began having them as teenagers. are painful, sometimes disabling headaches that are often accompanied by nausea, vomiting, and sensitivity to light, noise, and smell. These throbbing headaches usually occur on only one side of the head, although the pain can shift from one side of the head to the other, or can occur on both sides at the same time. Migraines involve changes in chemicals and blood vessels in the brain, which trigger pain signals leading to headache and other symptoms.

Migraine headaches tend to recur. A migraine headache typically lasts 4 to 24 hours but in some cases can last up to 3 days. Some people have symptoms, such as visual disturbances, that occur before a headache starts. These symptoms are called a migraine aura.

Some people have several headaches per month; others have headaches much less often. Treatment usually includes medications to prevent a migraine from occurring or to stop a migraine once it begins. In some people, migraines may be triggered by certain foods or smells. Eliminating exposure to these triggers may stop the headaches.

Here's a list of common causes of headaches include:

--Alcohol, caffeine, or other drug use or withdrawal.

--Changes in the levels of chemicals in the body (neurotransmitters).

--Coughing or sneezing.

--Dehydration.

--Dental problems or procedures, such as pain from grinding the teeth or from a root canal.

Ther is a acupressure point i n the area between your thumb and

first finger, Spread your left hand into an L shape,, with your right

hand using your thumb and first finger, apply pressure about 1/2"

or so iat the inside corner of the L shape, feel around a bit, just at

the edge of the muscle, just before the skin webbing. You will find

the point when you feel a very sensitive area. Apply constant

pressure there for as long as you can stand it (the first time my

sister did this to me, I was screaming, as I had such a migraine

that I was laying down in a dark room with a cold cloth over my

face....it hurt so bad!!! but after a couple of minutes, she quit

applying the pressure and my head felt soooo much better.

I do it to myself now and it really lessens the pain.
This won't help you this minute, but this site has information to help prevent the headache next time.
I can't give you any immediate advice, sorry.

To get rid of the problem as such, I would recommend you to go for a manual one-time treatment called Atlasprofilax. The effect on the self-healing power of your body is simply amazing - own experience. :-)

At present, the treatment is available in California and Europe only, costing around 200 Dollars. Good luck!
first decide is it migrain or sinusitis. Treatment is diffrent for both.
Try a chiropractor. They get great results with certain types of headaches.
Hi! Feverfew is a specific for head discomfort, especially migraines...it works really well on both kinds of pain you described. A decongestant in with it, say Mullein or Coltsfoot, clears it up within 2 minutes for my son and myself. I am at windstarhealing.com if you have any questions.
if you feel sinus pain or pressure, try taking an OTC decongestant to open up the sinuses....and if you think that allergies may have something to do with it, try taking Claritin-D every morning - which has the antihistamine and a decongestant. You can also try OTC tylenol and/or ibuprofen to treat the pain. Ibuprofen would be best if the cause is sinus as it relieves some of that inflammation thats causing your pain.

Just be forewarned that decongestants should not be taken in conjunction with certain prescription medications or if you have hypertension. Talk to your pharmacist if you're unsure.

I've had a headache for over a week, and i cant get rid of it... any suggestions?

See a doctor. A headache should not persist for that long.

Just the thought of that makes me feel badly for you. That's a rough week. Either see your doctor or an urgent care located near you. There is literally no way any of us can make a diagnosis for you. Just bite the bullet and get some professional help. It will lead you to relief.

yes. see a doctor
You may need to get an MRI done on your brain. You may have multiple sclerosis. If this pain is something that will not go away with regular pain medicine.
Maybe you need glasses.
This is too long to be suffering from a headache.

You may be having blood pressure problems, heart problems, or you could have a blood clot.

Something is radically wrong. Go to the doctors immediately.
Yeah I'd see a doctor, and untill then, drink TONS of water! It really helps (most the time when you get headaches, its from dehydration and water deffinatly helps) and helps completion :)
Eliminate salt altogether, drink lots of water. Message your neck, (or have someone do it for you) and if you touch areas that really hurt? They're knots. Press on each knot, lightly at first till you feel it going down, then, keep going deeper until it's gone.

You also need to get a deep tissue massage. They take away knots and totally relax you. Almost everyone I know who gets a headache, has me find and get rid of knots so's their headache will go away.

You may also need to get your eyes examined. Straining your eyes will cause headaches.
feverfew herb
Try Ecedrine migrane. This works better than any perscription headache medicine for me. If it doesnt go away soon, go to the doctor. You may have a cluster migrane head ache. Also try to cut out sugar for a couple of days, that stops my headaches as well.
Headaches can be caused from alot of things, tension, high blood pressure (a headache from high B/P usually only happens in older people), sinus problems, eye problems, tumor on the brain and so on.........Only a doctor can diagnose you. You may have migraine headaches. See your doctor asap.

sometimes a tooth/root that is infected due to decay can cause problems in the sinuses and further. please see a doctor - and make sure he/she knows about the tooth... you may end up having to see the dentist, too!

If you wear glasses youre having a migrane, i have them all the time. if you dont have glasses you have the stomach virus and email me for more info (if you want)..
the bump on the back of your neck sounds like a insect bite, considering your discomfort throughout your body and all that; i would say something may have bit you and that why your haviung those inner flu-like symptoms, I would go check it out; that would be my geuss.
A tooth root is swollen and infected. Go to your dental clinic for further medical advice
It sounds like a bad sinus infection except for that bump on the back of your head. either way you need to consult with a medical doctor.
I think you are really stressed out. Just rest for a bit and you might feel better. Heres a star it might help you feel better. LOL!!!???
Complex problem, can't tell firmly without exam.

You are sick...it might be dangerous try to go to the doctor.
First off have your parents take you to a doctor. To me it sounds like you might have a Sinus infection.
Sounds like youre gunna die soon.
you might be getting wisdom teeth.

your sore throat and ears are probably one illness. you might have a cold.
Go see a DR and maybe they will put you on a antibiotic. Kinda sounds like you have a absest tooth or something. Good luck and I hope you get to feeling better
tell your parents and ask them to take you to the doctor, if they won't tell your teacher. you shouldn't have to suffer like this. good luck
i'm sorry, i don't know
there are a lot of problems associated with what you are describing...it is going to take a professional to get this one cured...you might have hit your head and have a concussion...don't wait around for more answers...tell your mom and get an appointment to get it checked out...
You could have an infection, which will/can cause headache, earache, sore throat, go see a doctor to have this taken care of, you may just need some antibiotics to clear-up the infection. Chicken noodle soup helps a sore throat, and ask your mom if she has anything for the pain, ei: tylenol, advil .
Go See a Doctor
You could be coming down with the flu. But if you are really worried about. Tell your mom to take you to the doctor and to put on some medication if you need it
why don't u go to the doctor? This is something that needs attention right away. U probly have an ear infection and some sort of cold on top of that...u need medication to get rid of it. U could just call the clinic ask to speak to a doc. available and tell him whats wrong....then from there either he will tell u or have u come in......JUST SEE A DOC.

Is it okay for a married man to go home late or early in the morning like 3am just to hang-out with

please help me or give me some advise. am i just to selfish if a argue with my husband for going late at night or even early in the morning just to hang out with friends instead of spending time with his family. he also got mad at me %26amp; he said that i dnt trust him. for me trust is another case what am i after is that he sholud prioritized his family more than anything else like what i always do. Is it okay for a married man to go home late or early in the morning like 3am just to hang-out with friends?sheet music

depends on what "both" people in the relationship define as "okay".

Is it okay for a married man to go home late or early in the morning like 3am just to hang-out with friends?state theatre opera theater

it depends
If he just go out one in while i think is ok ( we need our spaces).. but if it is often is definitly not a ok. :-P

He needs to understand that he is a married guy and the single life is in the past !!!

Good Luck.
Well I think it'll be ok if you tell your wife exactly what you're doing and call her telling her goodnight and that you're thinking of her.
Sounds kind of disrespectful on his end. Friends are fine..but priorities need to be addressed. After discussing how you feel..maybe try asking him how he would feel if the situation were reversed and you were coming home at 3 am. Bet he wouldn't like that much....I would put my foot down.
you are not selfish. If this only happens on occasion its fine,But
nope. he owes commitment to you and the rest of the family.
This is my opinion and that only but I would have a fit if my husband came in at 3am. Hanging out with his buddies to 12 or so everynow and then is one thing but making a habit out of it is another. Also, tell him to imagine you doing everything he is doing. Would he like that? If not maybe he needs to rethink what he is doing
No I do not think it is okay that he is doing this. Once in a while a Friday night out with the guys is okay. Sometimes your piorties are not someone else's. I suggest that when you are calm tell him in a non personalizing way like "it hurts me' Not "it makes me angry when YOU" Try not to accuse him otherwise he will become defensive and then angry and you will get no where. Then just talk to him let him know how you feel.
I (sort of) have this problem with my wife. I feel as though I've given her most of my spare time. My friends definitely come second. I sometimes feel that she has trust issues, and these issues really do hinder the relationship i have with my friends. But she does come first, and always will. Tell him to put himself in your shoes. Maybe do it to him every now and then, although that would just probably lead to an argument. I hope you don't have trust issues. Those tend to kill most relationships. Good luck
When you say family, is there children?

If there is, he needs to get his butt home, what if something happened to one of the kids, would he like not being there to take care of the situation? Where's daddy, Doesn't he love us is why he's gone? Respect the kiddies, they deserve it.

No children? Does he ever ask you to go with him? If he does, you should go once in a while to really find out what's going on that he needs to stay out that late.

He never asks you to go? Watch out, 2 possibles here, he doesn't want you around so he might be doing something (or someone) that you wouldn't approve of, OR he doesn't want to keep you out late when you're not wanting to stay out that late, but he wants to fish, play cards, or whatever he's doing for a long time.

If it bothers you because you think he's doing wrong, show up where he's at and ask him if he would like something from where you're going to (name a nearby restaurant) and was close by(shows love), you couldn't sleep and had a craving for (name a dish). Also you could tell him you need somebody at home in the bed and would really love for it to be him!

Hope this helps.

take some painkillers and see a doctor if it continues

Doctors are overworked and like to do fast diagnosis, fast disposal of cases. And in many instances, they are right and all is well. When it is not, however, you have to stand up and make noise and let the doctor know you are not satisfied.

I haven got my period. 1 week late..?performing arts center

Stress can affect hormonal levels in the body that can delay your period.

It could be that you've worried yourself into a stress-related delay. But, if you still haven't gotten it in 1 week, see your doctor for a blood test, which can detect smaller levels of the pregnancy hormone that a home test can.

I haven got my period. 1 week late..?sunshine opera theater

its just a week dear..relax....also if ur partner is with u then y the worry..are u under-aged?

by the way, which condom did ya use?
Stop being scared. Stress is one of the factors that delay the period. Relax. If you had any analgesic or anti-inflammatory drug, it might be reason. It also happens if you lost weight. Be cool....
Okay don't panic if it was ur first time sometimes u don't get a period I didn't and I wasn't pregnant but sometimes stress can make you late and if ur really stressed out about it this can happen. Also being only one week late u can sometimes get a false negative, my best advice to u is calm down and if you don't get u period within the next couple of weeks take another pregnancy test and if it too comes up negative go to the doctor explain what is happening and ask for a blood not a urine test and if it's still negative then you can go from there.
If you are really pregnant,it will take about 10days to give a positive urine for pregnancy test, preferably on a morming specimen.

If you are not pregnant, then you are not pregnant and should be able to wait for a while and check again.Missing a period even for months is not uncommon especially you have some reasons to become anxious.

Check urine again in a week.

It could be stress, see your doctor asap it could lead to something very serious
Go to the doctor!
Go to the Doctor. They will find out for sure.
Go to the gyn to make sure. They can provide a more sophisticated test. And if that's negative, they can run tests. Hope everything works out for you.
where did you buy the preg.test?? and what kind sometimes some arent accurate its either your pregnant or the reason to you feeling that way is because the way your body reacts many females including me get late periods even after months n get those reactions but try going to a doctor
I think you should get a doctor to do a test. Your body may not have high enough pregnancy hormone levels yet to read as positive. If you are pregnant, you need to know NOW. If you're not, you need to find out why you're feeling so bad.
I think its in your best interest to set up an appointment with your OB/GYN... They can do the blood test to check. And figure out whats going on with your bod.

Best of luck and try to relax until you can get an appointment. Stressing is no good... pregnant or not.
My pregnancy test didnt show postitive till I was 3Months pregnant , I took 5 tests. I had a misscarriage at 5 months i would go see the doctar you could be preganant and something is wrong that could be fixed now I wish i would have.
go to your doctor if over the counter preg test are coming up negative blood and urine test will confirm i just recently found out i was when i kept feeling nauseous and sick all the time, my breast were sore the week before and i had not had a period in a month i never thought in a million years i would be but i was
Could be stress, but wait another week, if still negative, call your doctor, they may be able to give you a reason for why you are late, I had that happen once, they told me it was due to stress.
It could be a blighted ovum, which is when an implantation occurs but no baby develops. In this case the hormone level usually is too low to detect a pregnancy and would explain the negative test results. Please go to your doctor to be safe and sure!!!!

Who sings this song? "It's too late Im gonna die"?

I heard this song on 106.9 and was able to record the last 10 seconds on my cell phone but didn't get a name out of the radio station. you should wait before you test. if it's only been a few days past when your period should arrive, then any pregnancy test would not be sensitive enough to tell whether you're pregnant. and a lot of different factors influence whether your period is regular or not. if you haven't been getting enough sleep lately, or if your eating schedule or your diet hasn't been consistent, or if you've been stressed out lately, that could easily affect whether your period comes on time or not. and sometimes there are other factors that we don't know about. as for those symptoms, they could just be pms. wait for maybe another two weeks, and if your period still hasn't come, then you should get tested.

Try pressing on the earlobe of the left ear, you will be amazed
take your left thumb and index finger and press very hard right in the web of your hand between you thumb and index finger on you right hand. Hold for about 1 min. It really works.

Another trick is take a sock and fill it with rice about 2/3 and tie a knot in the end.

Microwave it for 45 seconds on high. Lay the warm sock on your forehead to relax the muscles.

This also really works well.

if you have tried a headache pain reliever and have gotten no relief....I would suggest you seek medical attention.

I have a bad headache?oper opera theater

first go 2 a doctor to see wats up. or maybe you fretting about something.stress causes headaches,. but still check with your doctor.
Aspirin or Panadol will work great for head-aches. Get some rest. No coffee or tea. Avoid stress. If the head-ache persists, go to the doctor. There is a lot of reason for headaches. Rotting tooth maybe a cause. Get well soon.
that happened to me before and usually if you already took some medicine and you wake up and you still have it thats bad so go to your doctor and ask for midrin, its really good you take it as soon as your headache starts so it wont get worse or last for days and its not a narcotic so you can stay up when you take it.
could be sinus headach or allergy headach.. try taking some sever allergy and sinus headach. medicin it work wonders. if that does not work try going and seeing ur doctor.

i suffer from headachs all the time
Sounds like a migraine. Have you been to the doctor? If not you should go and be checked out as soon as you can just to be sure there is nothing serious wrong with you.

I suffer from migraines also. My advice is to close your curtains and blinds so the room is dark and rest with a cool wet washcloth over your eyes and forehead. Excedrin migraine helps alot also. It's definately the best over the counter medicine you can take for a headache. Good luck, I hope you feel better soon. Headaches are horrible to live with.
It's probably seasonal.. Take something similar to Tylenol Allergy Sinus and see if it improves. It you begin sneezing or coughing colored phlegm then call the dr!
Drink a little bit of vinegar. You may have high blood pressure. Vinegar is good for a headache even if you don't have high blood pressure. Hope you feel better soon.

Also- may be a sinus infection.
Dark room, icepack on back of neck.
I get migraines as so does my mothers side of the family. They all have perscriptions for medication. If I feel one coming on, and I have to catch it before it gets into a full blown state or its hopeless. I find the only thing that works for me is Anacin, for some reason. I've just about taken everything that is over the counter. Vicks on the forhead and a tight rag tied tight is my grandmothers ole home remedy, and it gives some relief until my aspirin starts working. Of course don't go out in public looking or smelling like this. lol
Sleep.
when a headache last more then 3 days it can be a migraine or somethen more serious.u really should see a dr so then can refer u 2 a specialist. u can try excedrin migraine if that doesnt work see the dr
Me too. Turns out to be a sinus and ear infection. Needed antibiotics. See a dr.
i am a doctor and this is what you should do 4 headaches

take the recommended dose of paracetomol or solouble asprin

drink plenty of water or non alcholic clear fluid

have a warm bath to relieve tension

rest in a quiet darkened room

consult your doctor i such measures fail to reduce pain
Use some midol
Is it hot where you live? Usually that can cause them. Unless you hit your head on something. Owww...that hurts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you have anymore questions, e-mail me at jlharris1989@yahoo.com
go to the doc. get an Rx. Imatrex spray for the nose works well.
Not enough sleep

Not eating well or not eating at all

Stress out

Caffeine with-drawl/smoking

I would take Excedrin Migraine. It helps for any sort of head ache.
try to take 2tylennol extra strengh every 4hrs(no missing time)..take a very hot bath, and go take a nap...u should get better.
Me too! I'm sure it's nothing. I don't need to see a doctor about it.

I usually take Tylenol or Advil with a coke. Then rest.
Bc powder and a strong cup of caffinated coffee! Works for me every time.
Alleve works the best for me everytime.
any pain reliever would work for a headache.
If you have access to an oxygen machine, DO IT!! I used to get cluster headaches. I'd wake up in the middle of the nite and my head was about to explode. I started to use my late fathers machine, no headache and i was back sleeping within 15 minutes.
I think you need to figure why the headache, e.g., sick, injury, stress. I find the following helps besides OTC or prescription meds.

Ice on the back of the neck and base of the skull for 30 minutes. Take a TUMS before to settle stomach for any transitional pain like nausea. Go into a very quiet, dark room and lay on your back so the ice pack stays in place. Keep your eyes closed.

Take your index finger and thumb and pinch the webbing of the opposite hand for three minutes. If you can do both hands at the same time.
motrin
two Excedrin and a cold pack on your head.if you have this on a regular bases you may have migraine headaches which may require medication from an MD.
Motrin Migraine and a cup of coffee or something else with caffiene, like mountain dew.
The Commercial sucks but the medicine works.. its called

Head On
A stiff whiskey 'n' Coke.

Works every time. :o)

And many times stress headaches are caused by tension in the neck muscles, so you could try a neck/shoulder massage or self-massage. I use a tennis ball - rub it over the scalp and press it into the neck muscles. Even lie on it, if you like, underneath that big trapezius muscle. It hurts at first, but is very good after.
excedrin!

I Have a HUGE headache. i dont normally get these. it could be the weather.. its not the computer, cause..?theatre opera theater

Where is the headache located? Is it associated with any other symptom like feeling like a rubber band is being strectched around our head? Do you have access to a blood pressure cuff? Are you nauseated, feeling light-headed? If this headache doesn't subside, you need to seek medical professional help. A severe headcahe unlrelieved by any medication, "worse headache in your life", may be associated with impending stroke.

If you have been out in the cold, you may have gotten some sinus problems...the sinuses over the eyes are commonly associated with cold headaches. At any rate, don't fool around with a headache...call your doctor, and don't let him or the nurse put you off.
It is genneraly normal to get one or two headachs in a week. If this is new or if it happens frequently see your doctor.

#1 drink about 1/2 gallon of water per day - the head of neurorology at UCDavis (about 10 years ago) likened a car low on oil to a body low on water (engine siezing up).

#2 Daily muscle relaxer (1 or 2 swigs of molasses or 1 or 2 bananas) they contain magnesium and potassium.

#3 Massage therapy - professional or read The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies (it teaches you how). The principle that causes the headaches regardless of how severe is that muscles get knots (trigger points), which make the muscles stay tight, which press on nerves.

Your back, shoulders, neck and everywhere on your head will definitely play into the cause and it will take a while to get all the trigger points to go away.

When you have a headache does it mean you have an aspirin deficiency?

A headache could mean a ton of different things, none of which is an "aspirin deficiency" because there is no such thing. That would be like saying, "I have a sore throat and the doctor prescribed penicillin so that must mean I have a penicillin deficiency." People take aspirin for headaches because aspirin thins blood and dulls pain. Aspirin is a medication, not a naturally-occuring substance in your body, so there's no way you can have a deficiency of it. A need FOR it, maybe, but not a deficiency OF it.

By the way, if you have a headache, Tylenol or Ibuprofen work much better for the pain than aspirin.

Most definitely not. It may mean a water deficiency, though. Try some water.
You have inflammation and the aspirin relives it.
Aspirin deficiency???

It's not a vitamin - but you could have a headache from using those 5 braincells too much.
No!! Your blood vessels have constricted.
uh, no. I've never heard of an aspirin deficiency. I don't believe aspirin is a naturally occurring substance in your body.

Headaches are caused by a variety of other reasons.

What is this sharp headache in my eyes and/or head, lasting only 4 -5 seconds?

This has been happening for as long as 2 years now. I haven't thought much on it because I thought it was stress related, but now I wonder. I can sit around doing nothting, then BAM! it stikes. I feel a real sharp pain in my eyes and or head. Most of the time is blurrs my vision and the most painful ones cause me to stagger and lean over.

They normaly have a duration of 3-5 seconds and are gone as quickly as they came. They appear very randomly and have occured as long as 2 months inbetween each, and as short as 1day apart. Never more than once on that day.

I dont get nausious, I dont feel like im going to pass out. Its just an outright Pain that feels like pressure trying to escape through my eye sockets.

any ideas?

What is this sharp headache in my eyes and/or head, lasting only 4 -5 seconds?sunshine

Too much caffeine, and stress and tension releasing themselves, or severe eye strain releasing itself. This is what happened to me when I worked in front of a computer all day, answering phones, and being overloaded with work. I would stand up or relax for a second, or be at home and relax and it happened just as you said.

it could also be petit seizures. Get thee to a doctor.

What is this sharp headache in my eyes and/or head, lasting only 4 -5 seconds?star theater opera theater

That sounds exactly like a cluster headache, its a kind of migraine. Cutting out caffeine, chocolate and cheese can help. They often occur when there is a change in temperature like Winter to Spring, also stress or exhaustion can bring them on.

You can treat it medically with migraine medicine and also some blood pressure tablets help. But my advice would be to see an osteopath as these things are often structural in their origins.

I used to have terrible migraines but was totally cured by an osteopath, my fiance used to have cluster headaches but (again) the osteopath saved him.

I know how horrible they are and my sympathies are with you.

Why not take a trip to your opticians?
I'm not sure what it is i also had them just like that. By the time you say crap that hurts its gone. I never did get it diagnosed but they just stopped doing it after a while. I also had them for a long time then poof gone - sorry i couldn't help but at least you know someone else had the problem
it sounds like an eye or retina problem. if it is associated with blurred vision or if you experience seeing dark spots or flashes of light see an eye doctor. this could mean that you may have a retina problem.
It might be your eyes. I suggest getting a eye test done.
get to an eye doctor fast. May be glaucoma. My mother ts blind from it . i also have it and use eye drops

caffeine withdrawal.

Heard a secondary theory. People give up their 4-6 cups of coffee a day and get a headache. Problem is they don't replace it with something else. So their headache is not from caffeine. They're actually dehydrated.

But I personally believe in caffeine withdrawal. Gave up coffee and switched to tea so no headaches.
Caffeine can be both beneficial and harmful for a headache sufferer. It can serve as a treatment or in some cases, can cause withdrawal or rebound headaches.

Some pain relievers contain caffeine -restricting capillaries.

If you drink it on a daily basis its a withdrawal headache.

I have to have a cup of coffee each day myself
withdrawel
Yes, caffeine withdrawal.
It's all about the dillation of blood vessels. It may be a dependency, it's not an addiction. Wean yourself off by substituting a bit of decaf at a time into your cup of joe
yep: its called caffeine withdrawal
yes it is cafeene addiction
Join the club.

I get a headache if I don't drink at least 3 cups a day.

Hmm...maybe I should work on that?
you are addicted to caffeine and now you are having withdrawal affects
It's called caffeine addiction
Your body is used to caffine when it goes without it goes into withdrawl.
you are simply addicted to caffine, you get headaches cuz ur body is so used to having it that it can function properly without it. its pretty normal, it happens to my mom lol
It's the lack of caffeine your body is used to having each day at a similar time. It's called withdrawl.
i get them bad and it sucks...
Caffeine withdrawal. And don't listen to the tea drinkers because they are just as addicted.

Yesterday I had a headache and today i have a toothache what is wrong?

Wisdom tooth? Is it in the back of your mouth?

If it isn't a wisdom tooth, it could be a cavity or the beginning of one. Sometimes the teeth become sensitive. Try some sensitive tooth paste. The enamel could be weak and the nerve is acting up.

Then again, it could just be coincidence that you had the headache and the toothache back to back.

you have a gum infection..they spread like wild fire and will effect the teeth and give you a toothache from hell plus you will need a root canal....get to a dentist for antibiotics and x ray
toothache could link to headache because the nerve connects to each other it could be your wisdom tooth. good luck
your teeth are shifting all of the time, and sometimes it pulls on a nerve.
The headache was caused by the tooth. Sounds like you have a toothache. What tooth it is has no bearing on the problem. Go see a dentist.
i think it is best to go see a dentist.. no one here can tell you for sure what you have.. we are not dentist and have not seen your mounth and gums
If the tooth that's causing you discomfort is on the top of your mouth (which is to say, upper jaw, not lower jaw), and you had a headache yesterday, you might be dealing with a sinus infection or sinusitis.

If your nasal cavities have become inflamed (which could be due to any number of things), they would result in a sinus headache. But parts of your sinus passages also run adjacent to your upper gumline, and sinus pain can actually trigger tooth pain.

If the pain/pains persist, see your doctor.
you need to tell your mom and doctor

may be you are in the hectic condition, you are tired and you eat many kind of food, that contain of sugar. you know there is a relation between headache and toothache. they have the same nerves and they relate each other.

Do you get a headache when you wear your hair in a ponytail?imax theatre

YES! And for some reason, these ponytail headaches seem to be WORSE than any other type of headache. It may be pulled too tight, try wearing your hair down for a day or two, then a loose ponytail/bun thingy til you think you can handle the ponytail again.

Do you get a headache when you wear your hair in a ponytail?performing show opera theater

I try to get away with wearing a ponytail every once in a while, but after about an hour of wearing one, I get a painfull reminder of why I never wear one. Ponytails kill my head. They even make my hair hurt. I'm surprised it took a whole week for your head to start hurting.
yes it does, that's why i rarely put my hair up. besides that, i look better with my hair down anyway :P
No. I don't know why your head is ache. Maybe you put something that is too heavy on your ponytail. Or maybe you have too much hairs and that make your head heavy so it ache.
that happens to me as well
My hair's always been really thick, and when it was looooong I used to get ponytail headaches all the time, just from the weight of it pulling.
Maybe its because your scalp is sensitive from all the pulling...my hair is like that too
Yes!...so let it loose..
it wont hurt if you dont put to tight

If this is the worse headache of your life, then go to the doctor. You don't say how old you are, or if you are at risk for a stroke or aneurysm. Do you do drugs, ic; cocaine? Is there heart and/stroke history in your family? Are you on the Pill? These are all risks for strokes and a really bad headache can be really bad sign of something not going right. Have you gone for a chiropractor adjustment lately and he did high rotational neck adjustment on you? It could have torn a blood vessel. Go to the doctor just to be sure.
Go to the doctor!
maybe it is more then a headache

I would call the 24 hour nurse line it will be listed in the phonebook under you hospital

you will talk to a registered nurse

It depends upon your age and how much Advil you took. If you are an adult than you can take up to 800 mg every 4-6 hours. Some home ideas to get rid of your head ache. You may be dehydrated from hot weather. So drink a bunch of water. Also try drinking some coffee or espresso. Caffeine is very good for headaches (as long as your headache isn't from dehydration because coffee will dehydrate you more). Actually some headache medicines are mostly caffeine.
